ITC has developed and manufactured over 5,000 different acoustic transducer designs for a wide range of applications. Our current products are acoustic and ultrasonic transducers and hydrophones for use underwater, in air and also for contact applications. We work in a variety of ways: ITC has standard products, custom designs, can build to customer prints, and partners with customers as part of their product development team. ITC is currently selling in the following market segments:

Defense- This segment includes sales to the US Navy and defense contractors as well as foreign navies and contractors. Our transducers and hydrophones are primarily used on submarines and in fixed range installations primarily

Commercial Underwater- This segment includes any non-defense underwater application: oceanographic, oil & gas, mammal research, transponders, etc.

Air Ultrasonic- ITC has a standard product line of ultrasonic transducers matched for use in air. The applications we currently sell into are tank level measurement by echolocation, proximity sensing, contact measurement and ultrasonic flow sensing.

Medical- Currently our business in medical consists of building ultrasonic bubble sensors for an infusion pump. We have pursued various other opportunities domestically in therapeutic ultrasound applications.

ITC's 27,000 square-foot facility in Santa Barbara, California, houses machine and prototype shops, a large flexible manufacturing area, and a complete transducer test facility - virtually everything we need to develop custom-built designs on any scale, from one-of-a-kind to large-volume production jobs.
